Pushing snow in Michigan with a John Deere 1025r tractor & HLA 1500 54″ Snow Pusher. The first snow of the year in Kalamazoo, Michigan and it caught me off guard. I had just returned from a hunting trip out west and saw an early season snow storm on the forecast! In fact, it ended up being a record breaking early season snow storm for both quantity of snow fall and cold too! We ended up getting another 3-4″ of snow after I plowed bringing our storm total to around 7-8″ here in Kalamazoo. The John Deere 1025r tractor worked well loaded up with almost 500 lbs of rear ballast weight. I used an HLA 1500 54″ Snow Pusher with a rubber edge and steel backdrag.
