USes for Suitcase Weights
Safety
To operate your Front End-Loader safely, you need counterweight on the rear of your tractor.
How much counterweight you need is model specific, and can often be found in your owner’s manual. We sell a 3-Point Weight Rack as well as Quick Hitch Weight Racks so you can hang a lot of weight in a small area. Using 70 lb weights and our racks, you can gain systems can gain you over 1,000 lb of counterweight.
We cover safety in a lot of our videos. But for a good overview, watch this video on tractor safety here.
Traction
Whether you have a John Deere, Kubota, Kioti, Massey, Mahindra, LS or any other tractor, if you run a front-end loader you should know that your tractor’s weight alone will not be enough to operate safely.
Along with increasing safety, suitcase weights can increase your traction in mud, snow, and ice. By hanging weight on the rear of your tractor you are increasing the weight your ground-engaging wheels, and providing yourself better traction.
Performance
A third way suitcase weights can be used is on ground-engaging 3-Point attachments, helping them penetrate easier into tough ground. These would be attachments like core plugger aerators, seeders, box blades, and discs.

Lifetime Warranty
Increase the standard manufacturer’s warranty to GWT’s Lifetime Warranty.
What is covered
Your GWT Lifetime Warranty covers issues stemming from the craftsmanship of the product, like broken welds, torn steel, or improper fit. Tractor attachments are generally designed to be used in harsh environments, so normal wear-and-tear is not covered (things like lost paint or chipped paint, scratches, dents, or bent teeth).
We will repair or replace, at our discretion, your attachment/product under the Lifetime Warranty, if purchased.
What isn’t covered
Any shipping necessary for repair or replacement, as well as transportation costs are not covered under the factory warranty. Lost time and down time are not covered. Replacement parts are covered, but not labor costs.
If damage occurs from improper use (a use other than what the product is marketed for), the warranty is void. Damage caused to your tractor while using an attachment will not be covered.
Your warranty is non-transferable, meaning it exists as long as you’re the owner and operator of the product.
